Our Approach

Holistic development

Children’s brains develop the most in the first 8 years of life; we believe that the most powerful thing we can give to children is the ability to make connections between their learning in their own minds.

Mindfulness

Through dedicated mindfulness sessions and language coaching, we teach our children to have the confidence to take on challenges and how to deal life's difficult situations.

Building relationships

We teach children holistically, offering breadth as well as depth, with a real focus on making, building and maintaining relationships.

Community focused

Our children are engaged with the community at multiple levels: helping with local community projects and working on the community allotment. They have the opportunity for two-way learning when visiting the local shops, post office, elderly community, younger preschool community and woodland area as part of daily life.

Real life learning

Our bespoke curriculum enhances children’s daily learning in maths and literacy by making it relatable and purposeful. How better to learn how to write than by labelling the seeds sown on the allotment or writing a list of things needed for our trip to the shop. When the need for addition and subtraction skills are essential, like when pricing produce for the farmers market in order to make a profit, children cannot wait to get the job done!

Emotional Intelligence

We know that children learn best when they are happy, that's why mental health and emotional intelligence is our priority.
