We are an outdoor education setting for children aged 4 - 11 years.
Led by qualified teachers, we are passionate about education and recognise how important it is for a child to be happy and secure in their learning environment.
Mental wellbeing and emotional intelligence form part of our core focus which is vital in how we deliver our bespoke curriculum.
With nature at the heart of The Fledglings, we immerse ourselves in the wonderful natural environment at our carefully selected setting.
Situated on 14 acres of idyllic woodland, complete with open meadows and flower gardens, we teach without the constraints of a four-walled classroom, encouraging our children to learn holistically and develop their critical thinking skills out in the real world.

The Fledglings offer an alternative and comprehensive education experience for children. Their inclusive and caring ethos enables children to develop and flourish at their own pace. Celebrating each individual child and fostering their wellbeing is at the heart of school’s provision. The learning experiences they offer allows children to follow their own interests, develop their individual talents and become competent, compassionate, and curious learners. The teachers understanding of how to create an enabling learning environment for children is underpinned by their knowledge, professional values and passion for learning.
