Tuesday Provision
Tuesdays at The Fledglings are a little different from the rest of our week. Led by Jane and Gemma, two of our qualified teachers, Tuesdays are a stand-alone, one-day provision designed specifically for home-educated children.
Our Tuesday group is multi-age, giving children the opportunity to learn alongside others of different ages, abilities and experiences.
Learning grows naturally through shared interests, collaboration, curiosity and real-life skills, rather than being confined to a traditional classroom or rigid timetable.
Tuesdays are often adventure days. We make the most of our minibuses and head off-site, using the world around us as our classroom. Whether we are exploring somewhere new, following an interest, solving problems together or learning through a real-life experience, the children are actively involved in their learning.
Families choose Tuesdays for lots of different reasons. Some are looking for additional educational opportunities alongside home education, while others particularly value the social side of joining a consistent group each week.
And that social element is a huge part of what makes Tuesdays so special. The children build genuine friendships, learn from one another, laugh a lot and develop a real sense of belonging.
It’s learning, friendship, adventure and real life — all rolled into one brilliant day.
Our Tuesday provision runs term-time only, 9:30am - 2:30pm and costs £45 per day. We invoice half-termly in advance.
